I can't seem to get rid of my recyclables

Before I came down with this really bad cold, I had been trying for weeks to get rid of my recyclables. They have been in my trunk for almost a month, and keep piling up. Every time I go to the recycling center, there's either a long line, or the machines are broken. I even tried to go when it was pouring rain, thinking that no one would be there, but no, there were 3 other people already waiting so I said forget it and left.

I'm still trying, and hopefully by the time I finally get rid of them, I'll have enough to get a decent amount of money. I'm shooting for at least $10, but I might have up to $15. We'll see. I'll let you know.

I'm finally getting better

Since this cold I have just won't seem to go away, I finally dragged myself to the doctor yesterday to make sure there was nothing seriously wrong with me.

It turns out that I just have a regular virus that hit me more severely than usual. I was afraid that I might have an ear infection since my ears have been plugged up for a while now. Turns out that's normal when you get a cold. My doctor did say that I had too much wax to even see inside my ears so he had the nurse flush them out before he looked inside. There was so much wax in there it was pretty gross.

My doctor also said that I have conjunctivitis which is why my eye was red, and why there was white stuff coming out of it. He prescribed drops for that and now my eye is returning to normal.

My cough is gradually going away, but it's taking a while. And my ears are still plugged, but he said they should be fine in a few days. I hope so.

So now I'm trying to catch up on my blogging and Entrecard dropping.

The Importance of Walking

Walking can add minutes to your life. This enables you, at 85 years old, to spend an additional 5 months in a nursing home at $7000 per month.

My grandpa started walking five miles a day when he was 60. Now he's 97 years old and we don't know where he is.

I like long walks, especially when they are taken by people who annoy me.

The only reason I would take up walking is so that I could hear heavy breathing again.

I have to walk early in the morning,
before my brain figures out what I'm doing.

I joined a health club last year, spent about 400 bucks. Haven't lost a pound. Apparently you have to go there.

Every time I utter the dirty word,'exercise', I wash my mouth out with chocolate.

I do have flabby thighs, but fortunately my stomach covers them.

The advantage of exercising every day is so when you die, they'll say, 'Well, she looks good doesn't she?'
If you are going to try cross-country skiing, start with a small country.

I know I got a lot of exercise the last few years, just getting "over the hill."

We all get heavier as we get older,
because there's a lot more information in our heads. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

AND.........

Every time I start thinking too much about how I look, I just find a Happy Hour and by the time I leave, I look just fine.

You could run this over to your friends, but why not just e-mail it to them?!

I thought I was better, but I'm still sick

I thought I was getting better, but I'm still really sick. I had 2 days off from work, and felt better, but when I when to work on Thursday, it just made me worse. Now today, I have laryngitis and can't talk. I'll have to miss work today, and tomorrow. I hate it. I don't like going to doctors, but I think I might have to if I don't get better.

It started with a fever of 103 on Sunday night. Then it went away, but came back on Monday night, when I had a fever of 101. I had a sore throat, but that has gone away, I'm left with a slight cough and laryngitis. My ears are plugged up and my right eye is red. Another thing that's really weird is that twice, when my ears popped, my nose bled. It kind of freaked me out because I don't usually get nose bleeds.

I hope I feel better tomorrow, but if I don't I will have to go to the doctor.

For now, I'm going to take a break from blogging and dropping.

Thanks to everyone who has wished me well. I will keep you updated on my recovery.

I've been sick, and now it's time to catch up on my dropping

Thanks to everyone who has dropped by, and posted comments. I'm sorry I haven't been reciprocating the drops. I've been sick for the last few days. Sunday I had a fever of 103 degrees. That kind of freaked me out, because I don't usually get sick, and I never get a fever.

I'm getting better now. I have the next 2 days off from work, and I will be resting as much as possible. Now I'm off to catch up on my dropping.

Government Job

A guy goes to the Post Office to apply for a job.

The interviewer asks him, 'Are you allergic to anything?'
He replies, 'Yes - caffeine.'

'Have you ever been in the military service?'
Yes,' he says. 'I was in Iraq for two years.'

The interviewer says, 'That will give you 5 extra points toward employment.' Then he asks, 'Are you disabled in any way?' The guy says, 'Yes...a bomb exploded near me and I lost both of my testicles.'

The interviewer grimaces and then says, 'O.K. You've got enough points for me to hire you right now. Our normal hours are from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. You can start tomorrow. Plan on starting at 10:00 A.M. every day.'

The guy is puzzled and says, 'If the work hours are from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., why don't you want me here until 10:00 A.M.?'

This is a government job,' the interviewer says. 'For the first two hours, we just stand around drinking coffee and scratch our balls. No point in you coming in for that.

Garage Sale made me over $100, Yippee!

Last weekend my friends and I had a garage sale to get rid of our stuff, and make some extra money. It was a success, we made over $300 total. I made $114 by myself, and I still have some stuff left over to sell.

We're planning another sale some time in March so I have to start searching for more stuff to sell. I have boxes stored in my parents' garage that I have to go through, and I'm sure I'll have plenty more to sell by March.

Gift to a Woman...

Whatever you give a woman, she will make greater.
If you give her sperm, she'll give you a baby.
If you give her a house, she'll give you a home.
If you give her groceries, she'll give you a meal.
If you give her a smile, she'll give you her heart.
She multiplies and enlarges what is given to her.

So,

if you give her any crap, be ready to receive a ton of shit.
